Bob Kouns, one of the founders of Crime Victims United, died on April 29, 2004 at age 73. Bob battled prostate cancer for the last several years.
Bob Kouns was an inspirational leader of Crime Victims United and a tireless advocate for all victims of crime and law-abiding citizens in Oregon.
The Kouns family will hold a memorial party in the style of an Irish wake for Bob on May 22, at the Charbonneau Country Club. All friends of Bob and of Crime Victims United are encouraged to attend. The reception will run from 6 PM to 11 PM.
